ETV Marathi has announced the launch of ‘Kon Hoeel Marathi Crorepati’ – a regional version of Who Wants to be a Millionaire, better known in India as Kaun Banega Crorepati. The channel has secured the production and broadcast rights from Sony Pictures Television and has partnered with Big Synergy in a production for Marathi Manoos.
Kon Hoeel Marathi Crorepati (KHMC), to go on air in summer of 2013, is dedicated to the Marathi viewers who are educated and up-to-date on the latest happenings in India and the world. The show draws inspiration from KBC and stands for power of knowledge and education. It enables Marathi-speaking persons to use their vast knowledge and change their fortune through participation in one of the most successful game shows the world has seen.
