Mumbai : Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K) has launched the H+K Crisis Control app, a platform that puts all crisis, incident planning and response tools at the fingertips of the agency’s clients. The app, which is now live on Google Play and the App store, can be customised for each client in a mobile-friendly format.
“We live in a mobile world that doesn’t slow down for the weekends, vacations or outside of working hours. Our clients need access to their plans and procedures 24/7. The H+K Crisis Control app provides fingertip access to their protocols, checklists, best practices and contacts in a mobile-friendly format,” said Alec Peck, APAC Head of Issues and Crisis at H+K.
The app offers clients the ability to communicate and collaborate with their H+K crisis team as well as their own colleagues using instant communication, day or night, wherever they are in the world. Turnaround time to get a client set up is less than a week. The app is designed and built with the highest possible levels of IT security.
H+K also recently relaunched FlightSchool+, an online crisis simulation programme designed by crisis experts and used by senior executives from over 50 companies worldwide. The interactive tool allows businesses and individuals to test their crisis response capability in a controlled setting. Running over multiple communications platforms, the immersive FlightSchool+ experience runs in real-time with H+K’s specialist trainers assessing how teams perform when the pressure is on.
Alec adds, “Online forums, social media, and the dominance of messaging platforms across Asia now means that companies have minutes, not days or even hours, to communicate a response. And if they don’t, someone else will tell their story. With Flight School+, participants get the unique experience of feeling that intensity of every second counting as a crisis scenario plays out across multiple channels, countries, and even languages. It not only stress-tests the current crisis policies in place, but helps build a team’s confidence to respond in a real crisis.”
