Chennai: The South India Media Summit 2018 has attained significance with the participation of Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit in the inaugural session of the Summit. Being a Media Owner with more than 40 years of association with the Media World and Journalism makes Banwarilal an excellent choice to inaugurate the event.
He will be lighting up the holy lamp and delivering a Key note speech on the state of affairs of Media in India. Purohit gained ownership of the Nagpur based daily Newspaper ‘The Hitavada’ from Servants of India Society in 1979. Gopal Krishna Gokhale launched the newspaper in 1911 and Purohit is its current Managing Director.
